About Vicky
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Gambling Disorder Specialist
​
Vicky Northe is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 20+ years experience in New Zealand and Australia.
Vicky has experience working in private practice and public mental health services. Vicky Northe has worked in the areas of Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health, Maternal Mental Health, Adult Mental Health and Gambling Harm.

Face to face private practice on the Capricorn Coast, QLD. Vicky also offers Telehealth appointments.

Vicky can assist people who have experienced a broad range of challenging life circumstances and mental health issues. She works with her clients with compassion to not only alleviate pain and distress but also assist people to identify and achieve life goals and aspirations. Overcoming obstacles and problems and understanding personal relapse prevention can lead to a rewarding and joyful life.

Vicky is a skilled practitioner working with several therapies some of which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR and Narrative Therapy. Vicky co-facilitates a Specialist Gambling Harm Program with other professional specialist. The Gambling Harm Recovery Program can be home-based or through Calm Rehabilitation. At times people prefer a change of environment to help meet there therapy requirements for personal change.

It is important that everyone is seen in an environment they are comfortable. Services can be offered via Video link and face-to-face. Some people may want to explore a stay at Calm Rehabilitation. Vicky Northe & Co. can provide therapy during your stay at Calm Rehabilitation if required.

No one approach will work for every individual; during our first session, we will navigate together to find the best approach to assist you in the changes you want to achieve.

Every member of the team has vast experience in Mental Health and has presented at conferences and contributed to ongoing research.
Vicky is happy to be approached to discuss any training or presentation options, and these can be developed by The Team. Various members of the team have presented around Gambling Harm or Mental Health topics. Vicky can work with her networks to develop and facilitate training options with you.
